New school antivaxxers are becoming more and more like old school antivaxxers.

Over the last month, Orac has noticed that “new school” COVID-19 antivaxxers are rediscovering old school “vaccines cause autism” pseudoscience in a huge way. Also, there’s transphobia. Lots of transphobia. WTF is going on?

TransTopia? Another antivaxxer goes full transphobe

I picked this David Dees illustration because it encapsulates the attitude of the antivaccine movement towards trans people, whom antivaxxers view as "victims" of "contamination" from vaccines.

Antivaxxers have increasingly been showing themselves to be transphobic bigots as well. The latest example is “TransTopia,” where, thanks to mRNA vaccines, transgender is a “stepping stone” to transhumanism.
